Here are some tips for resolving some common Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) issues.
Nothing is showing up on the screen
- First, please check if the device is plugged in and powered on. You may need to locate the TV remote to power on the TV.
- If the TV/monitor is on, but isn't recognizing the MTR device, please check if the MTR device is plugged in and powered on. You may need to press a power button on it to power it on.
- If the source selected on the TV is incorrect, use the TV remote to select the correct source (it's usually HDMI 1, but may be different for your organization).
The displays are flipped
- If the screen on the TAP controller (the touchscreen device used to adjust meeting controls) is flipped upside down, please contact the Help Desk.
- If the resolution or scaling is off, please contact the Help Desk.
- If the screens are flipped between the TAP controller and the TV/monitor, please try restarting the device. If that doesn't work, please contact the Help Desk.
The audio is not working or is going through the wrong device
Please contact the Help Desk.
