Importing Chrome passwords into Edge

Who is this guide for?

If you have passwords saved in Google Chrome that need to be imported to Edge, follow the steps below.

1. Close Chrome and open the Edge browser. Click on the 3 dots in the top left > Settings:

2. In the "Profiles" section > Import data from Google Chrome > select "Import":

3. Make sure your correct Chrome profile is selected. Choose what you want to bring over in addition to saved passwords and select "Import". Please note that existing entries for sites already in Edge will be overwritten if it an entry for that site exists in Chrome:
