To set up your default audio and video devices for Teams calls:
- Make sure your desired audio and video devices are plugged in, if any.
- Click on your profile icon at the top right of your Teams window, then click Settings.
- A Settings pop-up window will appear. On the left, navigate to Devices. From there, you can select your desired default audio and video devices.
- If you select headphones as your default audio device, we recommend setting your computer's built-in speakers as the Secondary Ringer, otherwise an incoming call ringtone can only be heard from the headphones.
NOTE: If you're using an older Polycom phone with Teams, think of it as a USB headset with a fancier, bulkier base. If you're using a newer Yealink phone with Teams, you'll have some more advanced functionality and features available to you.
