Scenario: You have access to a shared voicemail box and you know that the greeting needs to be updated. How do you update it?
Previously you may have been able to sign into the voicemail account and update the greeting as you would your own voicemail greeting. The options available have changed:
- You can send us the greeting in text format. Then we'll upload that and an automated voice will read it (the automated voice doesn't sound half bad - the technology is improving every day). The voice can read your text in different languages as well, per auto attendant or call queue (here's a list of the current available language options).
- You can send us the greeting in audio file format. Then we'll upload it for you.
If you'd like to update a greeting, please open a ticket with the Help Desk and we'll get that changed for you.
