How do I import/export my browser bookmarks?

Here's a brief guide on how to import and export browser bookmarks.

Microsoft Edge 

Exporting Bookmarks

1. On your computer, open Microsoft Edge.
2. At the top right, click the "..." icon, select Favorites, then click Manage Favorites.
   
3. The Favorites page will load. Towards the right of the page, click the "..." icon, then select Export favorites.
   
4. A window will pop open and you can browse to where you want to save the exported favorites file. 

Importing Bookmarks

Follow steps 1-2 from the Microsoft Edge export steps above, then continue as follows:

1. The Favorites page will load. Towards the right of the page, click the "..." icon, then select Import favorites.
   
2. A new window will open. You can select from the dropdown to import a file from another browser or from a specific export file. Once you select what you want to import, scroll down and click Import.
   

Chrome 

Exporting Bookmarks

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click More .
3. Select Bookmarks  Bookmark Manager.
   
4. At the top, click More   Export Bookmarks.
5. Browse to where you want to save the exported Bookmarks file.
   

Chrome exports your bookmarks as an HTML file. Use this file to import your bookmarks into another browser.

Importing Bookmarks

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click More .
3. Select Bookmarks  Import Bookmarks and Settings.
4. Select the program that contains the bookmarks you'd like to import.
5. Click Open.
6. Click Done.
