Guide to installing Dell Display Manager

Note: This will only work with specific models of Dell monitors that are, in most cases, specially ordered and support this feature.

Step 1

Download here (the name of the file is "ddmsetup.exe")

If the download does not work at first, try these alternative directions:

1. If you aren't already, try using Microsoft Edge web browser to download.
2. You can also try opening the Edge web browser in a private window. You can do that by clicking the three little dots in the top right, and choosing 'New InPrivate Window'. Then copy and paste this link ( https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ar0DvQ-_ALAMhTSoY7m3S8l4glsD?e=kkVmB8 ) into that private Window.

Step 2

Note: If the below steps prompt for admin credentials, then please open a ticket with CTD with a few blocks of availability so we can schedule a quick remote session to install this app for you.

Locate the file where you downloaded it, and double-click it to start the install.

You will click Next a number of times, and the only time you have to change anything is to toggle the "I accept..." for the install agreement. Right before you install, there will be a number of options/check boxes - please leave those alone in their default arrangement.
