If you are opening a pdf with Acrobat for the first time and want it to open in Acrobat instead of Edge, please follow these directions. Or maybe you want to change the default pdf open behavior back to Acrobat, the following guidance can assist with that.

Right click on the pdf file, hover over Open with, then Choose another app:

Adobe Acrobat should already be highlighted on top, then click Always:

II. Acrobat First Time Sign in 

The first time you use Acrobat, you may be prompted by Adobe to sign in to validate your subscription. For the most part this process is straightforward, the one step we recommend is when given a list of services to use to sign in with "Microsoft" should be selected. If you don't see the "Microsoft" option, please click show more or other options, then click on "Continue with Microsoft" and you should be automatically signed in in your Edge browser:
